FAQ · East Valley, Arizona

Pool & hot tub rental questions, answered.

DadPool rents fully managed above-ground pools and hot tubs to families in Arizona’s East Valley. Seasonal pools run 2 to 5 months. Spas run 2 to 7 months. Event rentals start at 3 days. DadPool delivers, sets up, maintains and removes every rental.

The Basics

What is DadPool?

DadPool is a pool and hot tub rental company in Arizona’s East Valley, started in 2025 by four local dads. DadPool rents above-ground pools for the hot months, spas for the cooler months, and pools or spas for events. The same crew handles delivery, setup, maintenance and removal.

What does DadPool rent?

DadPool rents seasonal above-ground pools for 2 to 5 months, spas (hot tubs) for 2 to 7 months, and pools or spas for events, starting with a 3-day package. Every DadPool rental includes delivery, setup and removal.

What areas does DadPool serve?

DadPool serves homeowners and families in Arizona’s East Valley, including Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale and Tempe. Send us your address and we’ll confirm whether your home is in the service area.

Who owns DadPool?

DadPool is owned and run by four Arizona dads: Steven Alvarez, Stephen Menon, Jason Tackett and Nate Rosales. They started the company in 2025. There’s no call center or franchise, so you deal with the same people who put the pool in your yard.

Why rent an above-ground pool instead of buying one?

Buying an above-ground pool means you set it up, balance the chemicals, clean it, fix the pump, tear it down and store it. Rent from DadPool and that’s all on us. You pay for the pool plus delivery, installation, weekly maintenance, troubleshooting and removal, and you get your backyard back when the season ends.

Is renting a pool a good alternative to building an in-ground pool?

For some families, yes. An in-ground pool in Arizona can cost upwards of $60,000 and is permanent. A DadPool seasonal rental starts at $1,397 and comes out when the season ends. If you want a permanent pool and you’re ready for construction and ownership, an in-ground pool may make more sense.

Your Backyard

Will a DadPool fit in my backyard?

A DadPool pool needs an open spot about a foot wider and longer than the pool, plus an outdoor outlet for the pump. The free Backyard Fit Check takes about 2 minutes. If the answer isn’t clear, we’ll come out for a free site visit.

Take the Backyard Fit Check

How much space does an above-ground pool need?

Each DadPool pool needs an open spot about a foot wider and longer than the pool itself. The Small round pool needs about 15 × 15 ft, the Small oval about 17 × 11 ft, the Medium about 19 × 10 ft and the Large about 25 × 13 ft.

Do I need an outdoor outlet for a rental pool?

Yes. The DadPool pool pump plugs into an outdoor outlet. It doesn’t need to be right next to the pool. We can run an extension cord.

What does DadPool check before installing a pool?

DadPool looks at the size of the open spot, the ground surface (grass, gravel or desert landscaping, pavers, concrete or dirt), how flat it is, whether there’s an outdoor outlet, and whether anything is in or over the spot, such as sprinkler lines, a septic tank or leach field, tree branches or power lines.

Is the DadPool site visit free?

Yes. If the Backyard Fit Check can’t confirm your yard works, DadPool will come look at the space for free and help you find a spot and pool size that fits.

What if my backyard doesn’t work after the pool is installed?

DadPool takes the pool out and charges only for the time you had it. If you paid in full, we refund the unused portion.

Booking & Payments

How do I reserve a DadPool?

You reserve a DadPool pool or spa online with a deposit. Paying in full takes a 25% non-refundable deposit, with the other 75% due before delivery. On a monthly plan, your first monthly payment is the deposit. Then we’ll be in touch to schedule installation.

How much is the deposit for a DadPool rental?

For paid-in-full DadPool rentals, a 25% deposit reserves your pool or spa, and the remaining 75% is due before delivery. For monthly plans, the first monthly payment is the deposit.

Is the DadPool deposit refundable?

The DadPool deposit is non-refundable, with two exceptions. If we can’t fulfill your reservation, you get it back. If we install your pool and your yard isn’t a workable fit, the deposit counts toward the time you had the pool and anything unused is refunded. Spa deposits are also covered by the 30-Day Love It or Leave It Guarantee.

Does filling out a form on the DadPool website reserve my pool?

No. A form or request on the DadPool website doesn’t reserve a pool or spa. Your reservation is confirmed after you accept a quote or rental agreement and pay the deposit.

Can DadPool prices change?

Yes. Prices, packages and promotions on the DadPool website can change. Your price is the one in your written quote or rental agreement.

Safety & Contact

How do I contact DadPool?
