This Privacy Policy explains what information DadPool collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the information you share with us when you fill out a form, call, text, email or message us on social media.

Information you give us. When you fill out a form or contact us, we may collect:

  • Your home address, so we can confirm you’re in our service area.
  • Details and photos of your backyard, so we can check whether a pool or spa will fit.
  • The pool size, package and rental length you’re interested in.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in a message.

Information from your rental. If you rent from us, we keep the details of your rental agreement, installation, maintenance visits and payments.

Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We don’t receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web host may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view.

Cookies and analytics. Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to help us understand how people find and use the site, such as which pages they visit. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. Our website doesn’t currently use advertising cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Answer your questions and check whether your yard is a fit.
  • Prepare quotes, reservations and rental agreements.
  • Schedule and carry out delivery, installation, maintenance and removal.
  • Send you updates about your rental.
  • Send you offers and news, such as your $200 off code, if you sign up for them.
  • Process payments and keep business records.
  • Improve our website and service.
  • Meet our legal obligations.

3. Text Messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your request, your rental and related offers.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
  • We don’t sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their own marketing.

4. How We Share Your Information

We don’t sell your personal information. We only share it with:

  • Service providers that help us run DadPool, such as our email marketing, payment, scheduling, website analytics and website hosting providers. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or when it’s needed to protect the safety of our customers, our team or the public.
  • A new owner, if DadPool is ever sold or merged. They would have to protect your information as this policy describes.

5. Your Choices

  • Email: Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
  • Text messages: Reply STOP to any text.
  • Your information: Contact us to ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it.

Opting out of marketing messages won’t stop messages we need to send about an active rental, such as scheduling and maintenance updates. We may need to keep some information to complete a rental, keep business records or meet legal obligations.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide your rental, keep accurate business records and meet our legal obligations.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website, email or storage system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of information you send us.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to other sites, such as Instagram or Google reviews. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for how they handle your information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Our Terms of Use also apply to your use of our website.
